Six women sales associates who were sexually harassed by their supervisor and who complained to District Managers who ignored their complaints brought suit in Federal Court.
RESULT:
A settlement of $350,000 was paid to the plaintiffs and the supervisor was terminated. In addition the Retail chain agreed to strengthen their anti-discrimination policies and put into effect better controls on reporting sexual harassment incidents.
